Do
I need a special licence to participate?
For Trackday Hire
the only licence that you need is a full UK Driving Licence.
What
do I need to start racing?
To go racing you will require a National B Race Licence. To obtain a National B
Race Licence you will need to purchase your Go Racing pack from the MSA. You will
then need to pass a medical examination before you can
apply for your licence. You also need to pass an ARDS practical test. We
can give advice on all aspects of this.
I
am worried that I will not be quick enough.
Trackday Hire Experience is non-competitive aimed at
having fun. It is forbidden to have any timing equipment running.
What
should I bring to the event?
Your full UK driving licence and a credit card for your
deposit. If you do not have a crash helmet we can provide one at no extra cost.
What
clothing should I wear?
We recommend wearing flat, thin soled shoes. Other clothing should be cotton
or natural fabric and not nylon or polyester and should cover arms and legs. We provide all-in-one fire-resistant overalls. You may wish to bring
gloves - leather or other material that provides a non-slip grip.
I
am concerned that I will not fit in the car.
The
cars that we use are racing cars that have racing seats and harnesses. If
you are concerned please email
us to discuss your
requirements.
Do
I need to bring my own lunch?
There
are catering facilities at most major circuits that we use, you may bring your
own lunch if you wish. Lunch can be provided at an additional cost by prior
arrangement
When
should I arrive?
Normally
you will need to arrive at 8:00am for daytime events and 4:00pm for evening
sessions. However exact times will be included with the final instructions that
will be posted to you.
Why
do I need to provide a deposit?
Two reasons. The first is to encourage
sensible driving. The second is to allow us to offer our products at a
competitive price.
How
is my deposit managed?
We take a £400
deposit from your credit card before you
get into the car. On returning, with no damage, the
full amount will be refunded to your credit card.
What
happens with my deposit if the car is damaged?
If we are unable to continue then it will be used initially to refund the
remaining drivers. Then it will be used to repair the car. Anything remaining
will then be refunded to your credit card

What
cars do you use?
We are using race prepared kit cars. See other pages on this web site for

What
happens if my voucher expires before I use it?
We will be happy to extend the expiry date of your voucher. Please email us with
your voucher number and address details. There will be a £10 administration
charge for this.
I
have my own sponsor, can you accommodate this?
Yes we are able to accommodate additional sponsors including hospitality at any
of our events. Please email

requirements.
Can
you cater for corporate events?
We are able to cater for corporate events. Please email

For Trackday Hire

14-28 Days - 50% Refund.

For racing on a race by race basis

What
notice do you require for booking Trackdays and Racing?
Normally we will require 28 days notice for Trackday hire. At Trackday Hire
events we are able to accommodate additional drivers provided at least 3 working
days notice is given in order to notify our insurers. For racing we need
confirmation and a 30% deposit before 1st December for the season the following
year
